How do I add another child?
Tap the profile button in the top-right corner of the home screen, then "Add child." Each child keeps their own progress on the device.
How do I change the language my child is learning?
Open the profile menu (top-right on the home screen) and choose the language you speak and the language you're learning — Armenian, English, or Russian.
What is the lock button for?
The lock keeps your child inside the app so they can't wander off to other apps or settings. To unlock, a grown-up answers a simple question. On iPhone this uses Guided Access; the app shows you how to turn it on and off.
Does Wisekins have ads or collect data?
No ads, no accounts, and no third-party tracking. Your child's name and progress stay on the device. The only thing we collect is anonymous, aggregate usage — like which in-app game is opened — to help us improve the app; it is never linked to your child. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Why does the app ask for the microphone?
Only for the "Say It" speaking game, where your child says a word out loud and the app checks the pronunciation. The microphone is used only in that game, only after your child taps the microphone button, and never in the background. Your child's voice is never sent to us and is never recorded or saved. Your device converts the speech to text itself where it can; if it can't, it may use Apple's or Google's speech service to do so. Declining the permission leaves the rest of the app working normally. How do I remove a child's data?
Remove an individual profile from the app's settings, or uninstall the app to delete everything from the device.
